Let me introduce myself— I am Wendie, a passionate doula committed to supporting and empowering mothers throughout the incredible journey of childbirth and the subsequent adventure of motherhood.

My personal journey took a unique turn when I found myself expecting during the midst of the pandemic. Determined to embrace childbirth on my terms, I chose the path of a home birth. Having already brought five beautiful children into the world and experienced the heartache of losing twins at 20 weeks, this birth marked a first for my family and I. It felt right—being in control of my environment, surrounded by immediate family, devoid of mask mandates, and most importantly, within the sanctuary of my home. Home, to me, symbolizes a tranquil space filled with love, peace, and patience.

Supported by a wonderful midwife and a team of doulas, I experienced a birth filled with encouragement, shouts of joy, cheers, and the profound presence of those who held space with me—literally and figuratively. They lifted me up, reminding me of my inner strength and the importance of trusting my body. This priceless experience ignited a calling within me. I yearned to recreate this magical experience for every woman embarking on the journey of childbirth—to shower them with love, encouragement, empowerment, adornment, and the unwavering belief in their innate power.
